美國(guó)普渡大學(xué)蓋萊默校區(qū)周謙教授將來(lái)我校進(jìn)行“English Training in Engineering at Purdue University Calumet”講座,，重點(diǎn)介紹本科學(xué)生赴美國(guó)普渡大學(xué)蓋萊默校區(qū)訪學(xué)（簡(jiǎn)稱ETIE）項(xiàng)目。
　　ETIE項(xiàng)目自2006年起在我校已連續(xù)開展六屆,，項(xiàng)目效果好。畢業(yè)同學(xué)大多數(shù)已在美國(guó)高校，包括哈佛大學(xué)、普渡大學(xué),、南卡羅來(lái)納州立大學(xué)、華盛頓大學(xué)及其它國(guó)家高校攻讀碩士,、博士學(xué)位,。

　　周謙教授簡(jiǎn)介：Dr. Chenn Zhou is currently Professor of  Mechanical Engineering, Director of Center for Innovation through Visualization and Simulation (CVIS), and the director of  Engineering Outreach at Purdue University Calumet (PUC). She is also appointed as a Professor by courtesy at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University West Lafayette. Dr. Zhou joined PUC in August 1994.She has more than 29 years experience in the areas of computational fluid dynamics (CFD),multiphase reacting flows, combustion, and air pollution control.
