自2006年以來(lái)，我校已經(jīng)成功舉辦了三屆本科生赴美英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)與實(shí)習(xí)班,。赴美短期培訓(xùn)已成為我校學(xué)生了解美國(guó)本土文化和企業(yè)文化的重要渠道,，對(duì)學(xué)生提高英語(yǔ)交流溝通能力,，擴(kuò)大國(guó)際視野,，提高自我認(rèn)識(shí),，樹立遠(yuǎn)大理想有極大的促進(jìn)作用,。經(jīng)與密西西比州立大學(xué)（MSU）協(xié)商,，2008年寒假繼續(xù)開展為期4周的國(guó)際培訓(xùn)項(xiàng)目,。具體內(nèi)容如下： 

1．英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)：英語(yǔ)聽,、說(shuō)、讀,、寫,、語(yǔ)法強(qiáng)化學(xué)習(xí)，四個(gè)層次的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言課程,，每周20個(gè)小時(shí),；與國(guó)外學(xué)生對(duì)話交流。

2．文化活動(dòng)：下午,、晚上豐富多彩的各種集會(huì)和市內(nèi)文化活動(dòng),；體味異國(guó)中國(guó)春節(jié)。

3．周末旅行：納斯維爾,、田納西,、亞特蘭大或喬治亞美國(guó)南部城市的3天旅行。 

項(xiàng)目時(shí)間安排：2008年2月2日～3月2日

項(xiàng)目費(fèi)用：$2,649,。包括注冊(cè)費(fèi),、學(xué)費(fèi)、書費(fèi),、住宿,、機(jī)場(chǎng)接送、在美國(guó)期間的健康保險(xiǎn),、周末旅行費(fèi),。往返美國(guó)機(jī)票費(fèi)、在美國(guó)期間的伙食費(fèi)自理,。

報(bào)名日期：2007年9月3日開始，額滿為止。（本項(xiàng)目限報(bào)50人,，經(jīng)英語(yǔ)水平測(cè)試選拔30人左右參加簽證）

February 2 – March 2, 2008 $2,649.00 per student

Program cost includes tuition, housing, books, health and fitness center fees, x-rays and shots, airport pickup from the Golden Triangle Regional Airport, weekend trip, and day trip. Not included in the program cost is travel to and from the United States, food, and personal expenses, including optional cultural and sporting events.

  • Located on the university campus

  • Students are assigned two or three to a room

  • Each room has two beds, a desk, phone, television, internet connection, and refrigerator-microwave combo

  • All linen is provided

  • Dormitory style communal bathroom/shower on each floor

  • Lounge with television on each floor

  • Small community kitchen

Student Health Center

  • MSU Student Health Center (outpatient medical services for program participants from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on instructional days)

  • X-Rays, Immunizations, Health Insurance

Weekend Trip & Day Trip

  • Transportation provided

  • Hotel (four students to one room) for the weekend trip

  • Admission fees to 2-3 attractions

  • Site visit of Elvis Presley’s birthplace
