英國利茲大學(xué)近日決定每年提供10筆為期3年的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，以吸引高水平的博士研究生,，以此加強(qiáng)與中國合作院校的戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系,，并加強(qiáng)與中國留學(xué)基金委“國家建設(shè)高水平大學(xué)公派研究生項(xiàng)目”的合作。根據(jù)中國留學(xué)基金委的相關(guān)政策,，利茲大學(xué)此項(xiàng)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金將用于免除申請成功者的全部學(xué)費(fèi),，中國留學(xué)基金委將為其提供國際旅費(fèi)和生活費(fèi)用。

    獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金將集中用于"Gold Peaks"項(xiàng)目所包含的利茲大學(xué)具有很強(qiáng)科研實(shí)力的領(lǐng)域,，包括（附件：Gold Peaks項(xiàng)目介紹）：

1. Astrophysical & Geophysical Fluid Dynamics (applied Maths)

2. Cancer Studies (Medicine)

3. International Business (Leeds University Business School)

4. Plant Sciences (Biological Sciences)

5. Earth & Environmental Systems Science  (Biological Sciences, Earth & Environment, Chemistry and Geography)

6. Energy (School of Process, Environmental and Materials  Engineering )

7. English (School of English )

8. High Frequency and Nano Electronics (Electronic & Electrical Engineering )

9. Medical and Biological Engineering (Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering)
